I am a Pennsylvania Licensed Social Worker (SW139141), and expect to be fully licensed (LCSW) by the end of the year. I have over 9 years of experience in the field with background in schools, hospitals, and private settings. I work with individuals (ages 14+) and families.

My formal education includes two Masters degrees from Widener University; Masters of Social Work and Masters of Education in Human Sexuality. My area of focus is working with LGBTQ+ folks and their families.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two lovely cats. I love to listen to audiobooks or podcasts. I love eating and cooking and am always looking for new recipes to try. I grew up by the beach and always find myself drawn towards water to keep me grounded.

My social locators: white, Fat, Queer woman, raised working class and moved to middle class in adult life, raised catholic but not religiously aligned as an adult.

My Approach to Therapy

When a client joins me in session, I feel it is my role meet them where they are at. I try to establish good rapport and trust so my clients feel comfortable and secure in the therapeutic space, so that we may lean into the work together to address the reasons they are coming to therapy. I prioritize creating relational safety to carry us through moments where I may challenge my clients to grow and flourish. I also bring my own humanity into sessions to facilitate dynamic authenticity with my clients in the therapeutic work.

I value my clients’ experiences and I strive to create an environment where they can really feel seen, heard, and respected. I believe collaboration is a integral part of the therapeutic experience.

My Therapy Orientation:‍ ‍Person Centered, Narrative Therapy, Trauma-informed, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Health at Every Size Aligned (HAES), Harm Reduction, Elective/Integrative approach.

Areas of expertise: Gender Dysphoria, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Trauma, PTSD, Sex Therapy, Relationship Issues, Chronic Illness, Kink, Polyamory.

I also believe in writing lower barrier letters of support for gender affirming care.
